Florence B. Fitch, 88, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in her home following a short illness. Born August 19, 1920 at the home of her parents, William and Bertha ( Kugath) Nimtz in Belvidere. She married Robert "Bob" Fitch, June 8, 1940 in her parents home. They celebrated their 65th Wedding anniversary in 2005. Bob and Florence farmed grain and dairy for sixty years. They retired in 2000. Florence loved working with Bob every day. She is survived by her daughter, Florence (Chuck) Klinefelter of Belvidere; son, John Fitch; four grandchildren, Charles "Buddy" Klinefelter, Jr., Roberta Klinefelter, Robert (Tina) Kinefeleter and Bernard (Laura) Klinefelter; seven great grandchildren, Nichole and Leah Beasley; Katrina, Robert, Samantha, Cody and Nathan Klinefelter; three great-great grandchildren, Julianne, Isabelle and Leila; one niece and four nephews; Special friends, Ron, Dorothy and Dani Brotz. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Husband in February 2007; brother, Elmer Nimtz; sister-in-law, Marion Nimtz, brother-in-law, Walter Fitch; niece, Linda Nimtz. A special thanks to Jerry and Pam Wade of Poplar Grove, for all the cards and notes you sent to Florence throughout the year. She truly enjoyed and kept every card. The family wishes to thank Dr. Chen Shin and his caring staff for their care and support and to her caretakers, Roberta and Leah, whom gave loving care to their Grandma and to O.S.F. Hospice, Loren, Michelle and Pastor Ed Greenfield for their wonderful help.
