Faith Kaye Johnson was born October 1, 2006 to Robert Johnson, Jr. and Katrina Cunningham at Rockford Memorial Hospital and is survived by one brother, Robert Johnson, III.Faith's gestation period ended 26 weeks due to an emergency delivery while her mother was suffering from eclampsia. After several hours, Faith was delivered into the world. At birth she weighted 1 pound and 1 ounce.For the next three months, Faith fought a good fight. Faith faced many challenges because of prematurity, however she still managed to bless and touch many lives. Faith overcame many obstacles in her short period of life others will never face. Those who knew and loved her learned lessons about fighting in the midst of adversity, maintaining joy in the midst of pain and handling difficult circumstances.Ye Faith, you were truly given the right name. We will always remember you as God's little soldier, we will remember how you managed to smile, we will remember your very first sound, we will remember how you loved to listen to music and your mother's voice, we will remember how you looked for us when you heard our voices.
