Evelyn E. Strawn, 93, of Clinton, WI, died Monday, March 10, 2014 in her home following a short illness. She was born on July 23, 1920 in Belvidere, IL; the daughter of John and Laura (Behling) Pundt. Evelyn married Herman W. Strawn in Belvidere, IL; August 31, 1940. She worked for National Sewing Co. and Arnold Engineering as a factory worker. Evelyn attended Blaine United Methodist Church and Belvidere High School. She enjoyed scrapbooking, playing Rummy and spending time with her family. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sally J. Dredske, Poplar Grove, IL; and 4 grandchildren, Roger Mackeben, Kevin Mackeben, Larry Mackeben, Paul Mackeben; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Terry; husband, Herman; parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
