Evelyn M. Creighton, 86, of Belvidere, IL died late Saturday night January 20, 2007 in Biltmore Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Evelyn was born May 27, 1920 in Stockton, Illinois the daughter of Samuel J. and Ellen Esther (Gallagher) Krohmer. Evelyn married John C. Creighton on January 3, 1938 in Galena, IL at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Evelyn worked for the McGills Metal Product Company for 26 years retiring in 1985. She and John moved to Belvidere that year from Marengo. Evelyn was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles club # 392 in Rockford and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere.Survivors include her children, Jacqueline (Mark) Trivellini of Crystal Lake, IL, Dianne (Duane) Wirth of Belvidere, Janice (Kenneth) Heuer of Argos, IN, Karen Richardson of Houston, TX and Terry (Wendi) Creighton of Dunmor, KY.; brother Francis (Carole) Krohmer of New Prague, MN; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, John; son, Raymond; grandchildren, Harlan Richardson, Kevin Heuer, Joan Kelly; brothers, Leo, Ray and Ole; and her parents.
