EvaLou "Evie" Dooley, 73, of Poplar Grove, Illinois died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Palm Desert, California while on vacation. Evie was born March 27, 1933 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of Edgar and Ethel (McKhann) Max. Evie was a former owner of Dooley's Bar in Poplar Grove. She was a member of Grace Point Church and enjoyed crocheting.Evie will be remembered for her gentle loving spirit and for the kindness that she extended to all she met.Survivors include her children, Yvonne (Stephen) Ekberg of Belvidere, Valene Moreno of Poplar Grove, David (Alica) Flaker of California, Rodney Flaker of Poplar Grove; sister, Betty Gamble of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Shawndrese Kamin, Stephen Gifford, Sarah Moreno, Austin Ekberg, Lori Lybager, Jack Moreno, Dustin Ekberg, Nick Ekberg; great grandchildren, Alanna Gifford, Eliahs Kamin.Evie is predeceased by her parents and brothers.
