Eva Thrasher, 80, peacefully passed away December 26, 2022 at her home in Belvidere, IL. She was born July 24, 1942 in Breslau, Germany. Eva came to the United States in 1960 and spent her career working at Sundstrand.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Charlotte Schroeder; sisters, Dora (Reuben) Wise and Vera (Helmut) Vögler; and son, Alan Wallace. She is survived by son, Daniel (Misty) Wallace of Davis, IL; daughter, Christina (Steven) Burns of Gainesville, GA; daughter-in-law, Penny Wallace of Roscoe, IL; grandchildren, Cole Wallace of Davis, IL, Jessica (Michael) Watson of Belvidere, IL, Emily (Zack Lutzow) Montavon of Poplar Grove, IL, Andrew Montavon of Belvidere, IL, Forrest (Jenny) Wallace of Harrison, TN, and Autumn Wallace of Roscoe, IL. She is also survived by great-granddaughter, Lillian Watson of Belvidere, IL; as well as many other family members and friends. Special thanks to Lucy and Denny Capitosti and Northern Illinois Hospice for their love and care during her time of need.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008.
