Eunice Lois Butcher, 92, of Belvidere, IL went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2023. She is now reunited with her husband whom she married on 7/5/1950, James "Orville" Butcher in heaven. Eunice was a kind hearted and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born on February 27, 1931 in Logan County, WV. The daughter of Merle (Toney) and Walter Lambert. Eunice was raised in the Logan, WV area and graduated high school at Logan High School. She continued her education at Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN.  She and her husband provided spiritual council at Free Will Baptist Church in Elgin and at the Free Will Baptist Church in Ocala, FL, where Orville preached. Eunice was a talented singer and pianist. She will be missed by many.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Mark (Julie) Butcher and Eric (Dawn) Butcher; grandchildren, Jacob Butcher, Anna Krajewski, Tuesday Butcher, Christine Butcher, Hannah Butcher, and Jessica (Scott) Engel. Great-grandchildren, Kane and Ameliah; and brother, Walter T. Lambert Jr. She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Orville Butcher; parents, Merle and Walter Lambert; son, James Butcher; Kelly Butcher, and numerous siblings.

Eunice's visitation will be Sunday, August 6th at 12pm at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service to follow at 1pm. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, Florida at a later date.
