Eunice "Marie" Anderson of Belvidere, IL died peacefully surrounded by family, November 8th, 2021. Marie was born April 11th, 1933 of Bakersfield, Mo daughter of Earl and Thelma (House) Butram. Marie graduated and married her sweetheart, Floyd R. Anderson, August 8, 1953. Marie was a housewife and homemaker to her family. Floyd and Marie were known for opening their home for those in need. She was a long standing member of Zion Lutheran Church and County Line Grange. She was a member of the Boone Co. Fair Board and instrumental in starting the Antique Tractor display with Floyd from 1994 to present. She served as a Boone County Election judge and volunteered at the Salvation Army 30 years plus. She was also a member of the Northern IL Vintage Tractor & Engine Association and the Looney Club. Her interests included cooking, puzzles and serving her community. Marie loved spending time with family and friends.

Marie is loved and missed by her children, Larry (Karen) Anderson, Alan Anderson, Mark Robert Anderson, Gregory (Debbie) Anderson, Elizabeth (Daryl) Mootrey, Donna (Paul) Parry, foster son, Mike Pettinger; and foster Granddaughter and caregiver, Heather Martens. Grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah) Anderson, Stefanie (Dan) Carlson, Mark Robert II (Erin) Anderson, Michelle (Jason) Chandler, Mitchell (Trina) Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Jessica (Carlos) Anderson, Stroh Mootrey, Tarika (JD) Roberts, Landon and Lydia Parry. Ten great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Siblings, Richard, Darrell, Waco, LaVerne, Jerry, Dianne, Ronald and Gloria. Special friend, Bea Cramer. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Floyd; siblings, infant brother, Donald, Bonnie, Lowell and Carol; and grandbaby, Faith Parry.

A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1300 Pearl Street, Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor David Petersen. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere, IL. A memorial will be established by the family in her name.
