Ethel L. Herried, 86, of Belvidere passed away Monday, March 7, 2016. Ethel was born October 26, 1929, daughter of Lloyd and Ethel (Moore) Kimbrell. She graduated from Stillman Valley High School, class of 1947. Ethel married the love of her life, Harold Herried on November 15, 1952 at Temple Baptist Church in Rockford, IL. She was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church. Ethel enjoyed reading, sewing, baking and was a wonderful cook.

Ethel is loved and will be missed by her loving husband; children Amy (Jerry) Scott, Andrea (Tim) Bridwell; grandchildren Josh (Sheena) Scott, Emily(Steve) Scott-Garcia, Clara Bridwell; great-grandchildren Daylyn Scott, Lilly and Everly Garcia; sister Carolyn Shaffer; numerous nieces and nephews as well as special niece and nephews,
Jill, Jack and Jeff  Shaffer; all of her wonderful and caring friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Ciprian and brother, Bill Kimbrell.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March, 14, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church, 3215 E State St, Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
