Elnora L. "Sue" Vernetti, 72, of Rockford and formerly of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Monday afternoon, October 5, 2015 in Presence Cor Mariae in Rockford after complications from surgery. Sue was born December 22, 1942 in Carlisle, PA the daughter of Burland J. and Ruby E. (Miller) Nestor.  She married John V. Vernetti in Carlisle.  Sue was a loving wife and mother, a prayer warrior and faithful servant of God.  She made her spiritual home at Belvidere Assembly of God.  She was devoted to reading the Bible and worshipping God.

Sue is loved and will be missed by her children, Jeannie Vernetti of Rockford, John (Renee) Vernetti of Castle Pines, CO, Sue (Steve) Eichman of Beloit, Pam (Doug) Fudge of Anaheim, CA; brother, Burland J. Nestor; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Sue is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brother, Lonnie and granddaughter, Mitzie.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL with the funeral service held at 3:00 p.m. with Rev.
