Ellen "Ellie" Pfluger, 73, of Cherry Valley, IL, passed away on May 15, 2020 in Rockford, IL. Ellie was born on November 23, 1946 in Dubois, Pennsylvania to Ralph and Mary (Hanold) Rucker. She married the love of her life, Roger Pfluger, on April 14, 1979 in Belvidere, IL. She worked as a waitress at Grandma's Family Restaurant for 30 years. Ellie attended First Free Church. She loved doing crafts and tending to her flower gardens. Ellie enjoyed watching old shows, Westerns, and court shows. She also loved wrestling and threw wrestling parties at her house every Monday. But most importantly, she loved her family and will be missed by them tremendously.

Ellie will be dearly missed by her children, Terry (Cathi) Gerber and Tina (Mark) Hurd; her step-children, Arthur Pfluger, Russell Pfluger, Edward "Jaime" Pfluger, and Cathy Lewis; her brothers, Sam (Chris) Rucker and Maynard (Vern) Rucker; her grandchildren, Meghen, Brian, Nicole, Brad, TJ, Noah, and Michael; and her great-grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Ally, Derek, Josh, La'Niyah, Brayden, and Noah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers.
