Belvidere, IllinoisEllen L. "Nell" Glaser 88, of Belvidere, IL died Sunday, November 29, 2009 in SwedishAmerican Hospital, Rockford. Ellen was born July 14, 1921 in Harvard, IL the daughter of Ralph B. and Agnes L. (Sutton) Morris. She married Robert E. Glaser on October 19, 1941. He predeceased her in June of 1956. Ellen was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1461. She retired from Blaine's Farm and Fleet of Belvidere. Ellen is survived by her children, Evelyn (Ron) Rickelman, Bobbie Eicksteadt, Helen (John) Dennis, Bob (Sue) Glaser, Connie (Don) Ahlberg, Karen (Jake) McClenthen, Mary (Ken) Taylor; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Ken ( Debbie) Morris.Ellen is predeceased by her parents, husband, twelve brothers and three sisters.The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care given by Dr. Eric Hess and staff, the Heart Hospital of SwedishAmerican and the visiting nurses of SwedishAmerican to Ellen and the family.

In lieu of flowers, Ellen requested that memorials be given in care of the Rockford Rescue Mission or Belvidere Food Pantry in her memory.
