Elizabeth A. Johnson, 78, of Belvidere, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Home Bridge Care Center after a long illness. She was born on February 7, 1933 in Belvidere; the daughter of Donald and Lillian (Bauman) Peterson. She is survived by her three sons, Kevin and Curtis Johnson, both of Belvidere and Mark Johnson of Georgia; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Taffy, and Jared Johnson. Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirley Schmeling.
