Elena Casares, 69, of Belvidere, IL passed away in Rockford, December 26, 2021.  She was born February 2, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Enrique and Consuelo (Perez) Casares.  Elena enjoyed going to outings with her girls, baking, sewing pillows and giving her grandchildren special cards for each holiday.  She was a care taker by heart and took care of everyone she loved.  She was loved by everyone and will truly be missed.

Elena will be missed dearly by her son, Robert (Jessica) DeLallave; grandchildren, Vincent, Celia, Nicolas, Alijah, Noah and Naiyah; daughter in law, Ramona Casares; sister, Ruby (Bob) Brya; nephew, Bobby and niece, Kimberly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Nieves; sons, Joseph Casares and Michael Anthony DeLallave.
