Eleanore F. Johnson, 88, of Poplar Grove, IL, died December 9, 2021 in Rockford, IL. She was born November 19, 1933, in Rochelle, IL, daughter to Kenneth and Frieda (Baumann) Chisamore. She graduated high school and married her sweetheart, Charles "Bud" Johnson, January 3, 1957, in Hernandez, Mississippi. Eleanore had a career in retail. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. Eleanore and Bud loved going to casinos. She also loved puzzles and Seek and Find Books. She was loved and will be dearly missed.

Eleanore will be missed by her daughter, Darla (Gerald) Schroeder; brother, Ernie Chisamore and Larry Pickreign; sister, Sharon Albarran; grandchildren, Daniel (Irene) J. Tufo, Corey A. (Becca) Johnson, Leah Johnson and Brandon G. Schroeder; 3 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Connie; and son, Charles David.
