Eleanor E. Ericson, 86, of Belvidere, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born January 24, 1925 in Galva, IL, daughter of Carl G. and Anna L. (Lindholm) Erickson. Graduated from Belvidere High School in 1942. Married Charles W. Ericson on October 15, 1944 in Covington, KY, Charles died on February 27, 1996. Worked as an insurance secretary for 22 years, enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and loved to spend time with her grand and great-grandchildren.Survivors include her son Martin (Patricia) of Madisonville, Tenn, daughter Jill (Dan) Salley of Caledonia, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Lois (Dale) Smith, sister-in-law Jeanne Erickson, brothers-in-law Harold (Norma) and Alan (Jean) Ericson. Predeceased by her parents, husband, and brother Raymond.
