Rockford, ILEleanor Ackerman, 94 of Rockford and formerly of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Wednesday night, December 19, 2007 in Wesley Willows Health Center. Eleanor was born December 12, 1913 in Belvidere, IL the daughter of Ralph C. and Verna (Huber) Lane. She married Roy Ackerman on November 1, 1952 in Rockford. Prior to retiring she worked for Barber Coleman Company as an assembler. Eleanor was a member of First United Methodist Church, Faith Circle, BYKOTA and U.MW. She was a former Pink Lady for Highland Hospital. Survivors include her son, Charles Bailey; grandson, Irish Bailey, both of Hungry Horse, MT; sister-in-law, Floy Lane of Rockford and her family.Eleanor is predeceased by her parents, husband, Roy, and brother, Charles Lane.
