Eldon L. Fisk, 95, a lifelong resident of Belvidere passed away Saturday, February 19th ,2022. The son of Floyd and Elizabeth (Brock) Fisk, born in Salem, IL on August 11, 1926. Eldon was an Army veteran serving in WWII. On April 9th, 1950, Eldon married Ida Buse, and together they raised four children. He enjoyed telling stories about his motorcycle days and was almost always dressed in Harley Davidson attire. Some of his favorite pastimes included hunting and fishing. Eldon spent much of his life on the farm, 30 years spent self-employed at KB Farms and then 24 years as a grain farmer for RJ Daniels, retiring at the young age of 94.

Eldon will be dearly missed by his children, James Paul, Kenneth (Sherry) Fisk, Sharon (Gene) Meyer and Cindy (Larry) Deisinger; grandchildren, Lori Meyer, Shelly (Jim) Walling, Tricia Brown, Ashley Fisk and Kody (Nicole) Fisk; step-grandchildren, Mark and David Carlson; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Bob and Jim Fisk; sisters, Annabelle Maitland and Helen Mapes; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ida; granddaughter, Kimberly Meyer and grandson, Mark Meyer; brothers-in-law, Bob Maitland and James Mapes.
