Elaine M. Tande, 69, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born July 29, 1945 in New London, WI, daughter of Frances and Theresa (Young) Nelson. She graduated from high school and then went on to beauty school. Elaine married Richard A. Tande on December 9, 1972 in Belvidere, IL. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Belvidere. She was employed by Automatic Electric in Genoa, IL.

Elaine is loved and will be missed by her husband, Richard of Belvidere; daughters, Annette Reimer of Oregon, WI, Yoshe (Eric) Pohlman of Belvidere, IL, Joy (Jake Calhoun) Medina of Machesney Park, Il; brothers, Roger (Rita) Nelson of Hortonville, WI, Donald (Lynn) Nelson of Hortonville, WI, Charles (Rita) Nelson of Appleton, WI; sister, Marguerite Mesker of Kimberling, MO; 9 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Dr. Robert Kopp officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.
