Eileen M. Leitzell (formerly Briggs), 86, of Belvidere, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Northwoods Care Centre. Born March 1, 1924 in Dixon, IL, daughter of Glenn and Faith (Castle) Shilling. Married Jarrette Leitzell on July 26, 1972 in Elko, Nevada. Eileen worked as an inspector for the Belvedere Company for 23 years, retiring in 1986. She loved to cook and was an avid reader.Survivors include daughter Sharon (Edmund) Vail of Belvidere, sons Robert (Beverly) Briggs of Westby, WI and Rodney (Sheila) Briggs of Belvidere, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sister Betty (Phillip) Kelly of Phoenix, AZ and a niece. Predeceased by her parents, husband Jarrette, son Dallas Noll and brother Marvin Shilling.
