Edward Lundt, 85, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on June 6, 2021. Edward was born on March 6, 1936 in Guttenberg, Iowa son of Alfred and Hilda (Kregel) Lundt. He married the love of his life, Ivanelle Horstman, on August 12, 1961 in Guttenberg, Iowa. Edward worked as a farmer before he began manufacturing tractors with International Harvester at their Rock Island plant. He retired from George Evans Corporation in Moline, Illinois. Edward was a member at Christ Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge in Janesville, Wisconsin. He was also a member of the UAW. Edward enjoyed volunteering at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. In his later years, Edward loved to travel. As he made new friends, he gained new travel buddies and they went on river cruises, to Russia, the Carribean, and Hawaii to name a few. He was a hardworking man and a good provider.

Edward is loved and missed by his daughter Julie (David) Nord; grandchildren Seth (Jenna) Nord and Daniel Nord; great-granddaughter Hadley; sister Marie Hagen; and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents and his beloved wife Ivanelle.

A graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Edward's honor to Christ Lutheran Church, 425 Riverside Road, Belvidere, Illinois 61008.
