Edward J. Fowler, 83, of Caledonia, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Maple Crest Care Center. He was born April 6, 1934 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Edward J. and Villa (Larson) Fowler, Sr. Edward earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of North Dakota. He married the love of his life, Sylvia Parker on September 1, 1956 in Grand Forks, ND. Edward was a mechanical engineer at Sundstrand. He was a founding member of the Rock River R/C Flyers Club. Edward enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes, furniture making, and was an incredible sketch artist.

Edward is loved and missed by his wife, Sylvia; son, William (Cyndi) Fowler; grandson, Blake Fowler; brother, Richard Fowler and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Keith Fowler.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Monty Fox officiating.
