Edith May Shuster, 85, of Belvidere, IL, passed away December 5, 2015. She was born July 26, 1930 in Grundy County, MO, daughter of Arthur Porter and Edith May (Hopkins) Lynch. She graduated from Galt High School, Class of 1948, in Galt, MO. Edith was a homemaker who loved caring for her daughters and grandchildren, and keeping in touch with family in Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, organ, and accordion. Edith had a caring heart who loved helping people and giving to charities. She was supportive of the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, Judicial Watch, Heritage Foundation, MLB Insiders Club, Help Hospitalized Veterans, Reagan Ranch member, and Social Security Coalition.

Edith is loved and will be missed by her daughters, Rosella Shuster of Belvidere, IL, Betty Kotila of Hanover Park, IL, and Kathy (Patrick) Rapp of Union, IL; grandchildren, Christopher Rapp of Belvidere, IL and Carl Rapp of Mesa, AZ; siblings, Mary "Tootie" Hamilton of Tindle, MO, D.G. (Sandy) Lynch of Trenton, MO; sister-in-law, Virginia Lynch of Trenton, MO; former spouse, Wayne Shuster; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gerald Lynch, Preston Lynch, Willis Lynch, Lewis Lynch, infant sister, Dorothy Ruth, infant brother, son-in-law, Arthur Kotila.
