Edgar A. Baugus, 77, of Poplar Grove, Illinois died suddenly Thursday, May 15, 2008. He was born December 29, 1931 in Carlisle, Kentucky, the son of Kenneth and Ruby (Roundtree) Baugus. He married Sheila in Fairfield, England on October 30, 1954. Edgar was an automotive technician for Howard Pontiac in Elmhurst, Illinois. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was raised in the Lutheran faith. His hobbies included fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Edgar is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sheila, of Poplar Grove; three children, Brian (Mary) Baugus; Brenda (Dan) Froehlich; and Mark (Debbie) Baugus; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
