Dorothy Ziemann passed into God's hands on March 7 after a short illness. She was born in Rock Falls, Iowa on July 30 1937. Dorothy and Ben would have celebrated 51 years of marriage on March 18th.  Dorothy was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, hiking with Ben, and loved her dog.

She was preceded in death by her father, Everett; mother, Mary; and brother, John.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Ben (Belvidere); sons, Steve (Maryland), James (Florida), and John (Machesney Park); as well as daughters, Cheryl (Nebraska) and Julie (Bellville).

She has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded.
