Dorothy D. Young, 88, of Belvidere, died Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Crystal Pines Nursing Center, Crystal Lake. Born July 11, 1921 to Elmer and Marion (Mighell) Myers in Big Rock, IL. Married Edward C. Young on October 26, 1963 in Belvidere, IL. He passed away on January 31, 1988. Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church of Belvidere.Survivors include sister Lois DeWane of Woodstock; niece Sherry (Dennis) Pribble of Harvard, Debra (Edward) Stewart of Woodstock; nephew Gary (Tracey) DeWane of Crystal Lake and Kelly DeWane of Woodstock; 1 great niece and 3 great nephews. Predeceased by parents, twin brother Darwin, brother Everett and brother-in-law Emmet DeWane.
