Dorothy I. Widell, 79, of Beloit, WI. died Thursday, January 24, 2008 in her home following a long illness. Born November 29, 1928 in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of Franklin and Violet (Crowley) Jones. She was married to Ralph G. "Gerry" Widell, in Capron, IL. On August 11, 1966. She was a C.N.A. for various area nursing homes as well as a former Bus driver for North Boone School district 200 and truck driver for her husband. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Ralph) Mains, La Porte, TX.; Elizabeth (George) Rodman, Elgin, Il.; two sons, David (Sasha) Widell and Larry (Roxann) Widell, both of Beloit, Wi.; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn (Gary) Johnson, Loves Park, Il.; two brothers, Richard and Raymond Jones. Preceded in death by parents, her husband,"Gerry", a sister and two brothers.
