Dorothy Jeanne Kenney, 90, died Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Rockford, Illinois.

Jeanne was born in Clinton, Iowa to Francis and Frances Clark. She had three siblings: Edward, Doris and Helen.

She married Robert J. Kenney on April 24, 1954. They were blessed with four children: Gerald (Sherry) Kenney, Carol (Jeff) Wych, James (Debbie) Kenney and Patrick (Dyanne) Kenney. She had six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two more great-grandchildren on the way!

She was an active parish member of Saint James Catholic Church. She was involved in the Catholic Daughters of America, Women's Club of Belvidere and Friends of Ida Public Library.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church. Rev. Brian Geary will officiate. Burial at St. James Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please have Masses said in her honor. To light a candle or share a condolence, please visit www.andersonfcs.com.
