Belvidere, ILDoris Ann Berkley, 72, of Belvidere, Illinois died Friday evening, July 31, 2009 in Maple Crest Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Doris was born July 14, 1937 in Dearborn, Wisconsin the daughter of Charles L. and Mabel (Detweiler) Hunt. She married William L. Berkley on December 24, 1955 in Baraboo, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Salvation Army and the Salvation Army Home League. Survivors include her children, William L. Berkley, Sue (Daryl) Berendes and Sharon (Romulo) Fragoso all of Belvidere; grandchildren, Jaime (Aaron), Bobbie, Daryl II, Billy, Christopher, Aimee and Kayleigh; five great grandchildren; sister, Lola Griffin of Baraboo and brother, Jerry (Jerry) Hunt of Texas. Doris is predeceased by her parents, husband, four sisters, two brothers and grandson, Robert Berendes.
