Dora M. (Dorothy) Christensen, 90 of Belvidere, passed away April 13, 2016 after a short illness. Dorothy was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, doing for others, and was a snowbird in Arizona for many years.

Survived by her husband of 69 years, Russell; daughter, Marsha Braun; grandsons, Christopher (Rachel) Braun and Jason (Brianne) Braun; great-granddaughters, Gianna and Ally.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Keith Richards officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere, IL.
