Donald Quincy Wellman, Jr., 58, of Poplar Grove, IL, died November 26, 2025, in Rockford, IL. Born November 2, 1967, in Chicago, IL, son to Donald Zeraihi Wellman, Sr and Rachel Joyce (Taylor) Wellman. Donald graduated from high school and began working in the car industry. He worked for M & K Trucking Co.,in customer service for many years. Donald married his sweetheart, Theresa Gill, on September 29, 2007, in Roselle, Il at a little Chapel. They met at Chili's.  Together they had three beautiful children, the late Donald Zeraihi Wellman, Jr, Rachel Rose Wellman and Joshua Donald Wellman. He was an avid supporter of gun rights. He enjoyed watching Ghost adventures with his daughter. With his son, he enjoyed playing cards. He loved to tease and wrestle with them and always enjoyed a good storm.

He is loved and missed by his wife, Theresa; children, Rachel and Joshua; sister, Cheryl Wellman; nephews, Nick Cywinski and Steven Cywinski; and special friend, Zoe L.

A memorial visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008.
