Donald E. Pilgrim, Sr.Donald E. Pilgrim, Sr., 85, of Garden Prairie, Ill. died Monday, December 4, 2006 in his daughter's home following a short illness. He was born on March 19, 1921, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim. Donald married Eleanor Lohman in Chicago, Illinois on November 5, 1948. He worked for many area Farmers. He attended Garden Prairie United Church of Christ. He is survived by his three children, Diane (Roger) Nicholls, Marksan, Wisc.; Don (Julie) Pilgrim, Jr., Rochelle, Ill.; Ada (Steve) Thurow, Garden Prairie, Ill.; two grandchildren, Kurt Korst and Corey (Angie) Korst; three step-grandchildren, Jason Mapes; Corey Rangel; Angie Rangel; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Nina Studick; Dorothy (Earl) Lecki. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, William Arthur Pilgrim and two grandchildren, Linda Jones and Lonnie Pufahl and two sisters, Alberta Lane and Geraldine Spencer.

Memorials may be made to either the O.S.F. Hospice or the Garden Prairie United Church of Christ.
