Donald E. Jerome, 81, of Belvidere, died Friday, October 1, 2010 in his home after a short illness. Born October 24, 1928 in Superior, WI; son of Joseph and Marie (Schubert) Jerome. Worked for the Soo Line Railroad from 1948-1964, construction from 1964-1968 and in maintenance for Chrysler from 1966-1995. He was someone who smiled laughed, loved and lived life to the fullest daily. His friends would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of OSF Hospice for their loving care and kind words.Predeceased by his parents, 2 wives, brother Joseph and sisters Delores and Ellyn.
