Donald George Detmer, Jr. 58, of Belvidere, Illinois, died peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018. Born June 12, 1960 to Donald Detmer Sr. and Patricia Michaelson, June 12, 1960. He worked for Growth Enterprises in Rockford, Illinois for ten years as a manufacturer in the shelter workshop. He collected records for many years.

Donald will be loved and missed by his mother, Patricia; brother, Thomas Detmer; sisters, Laura Maguire and Catherine (Ron) Bragg; niece, Cierra; and nephews, KC and Ryan. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Sr.

A funeral service will be held, Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., in Belvidere, IL.Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Pastor Allan Buss to officiate. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
