Diane M. Baker, 70, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013, in her home from a lengthy illness. She was born on October 6, 1943 in Belvidere; the daughter of Herbert and Caroline (Kamholz) Brockman. She was married to Roger J. Baker in Belvidere on July 22, 1967. She was employed as a Travel Agent for Globetrotter Travel. Diane was a member of St. John United Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and putting puzzles together. Diane graduated from Belvidere High School and Weaver Airline School. She is survived by her children, Kris (Bob) Macrowski, Darcey (Tim) Kendall, both of Belvidere; and Phil (Mary) Baker, Loves Park, IL; 3 grandchildren, Brett, Kevin and Dalton; a great-grandson, Maxwell, and a sister, Becky Frost, Harvard, IL. Diane is preceded in death by parents, husband and a brother Dennis Brockman.
