Belvidere, IllinoisDiana K. Long, 53, of Belvidere, IL died early Sunday morning April 4, 2010 in her home after a seven year battle with Breast Cancer. Diana was born September 11, 1956 in Belvidere, IL the daughter of George and Marilyn (Griswold) Barton. She was a graduate of Belvidere High School and until her illness, was a cook at Maple Crest Nursing Home. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed by her children Shannon (Dan) Ferguson of Rockford, MI, Dr. Jaime (Greg) Woodford of Rockford, IL, Ashley (Juan) Long of Belvidere, Kyle (Jacqlyne) Long of Belvidere, Cody Long of Belvidere and Colin Long of Belvidere; sister, Kathy (Fred) Fowler of Poplar Grove; brother William (Bev) Barton of Belvidere; six grandchildren Ariana, Anthony, Christian, Kate, Claire and Kameron. Diana is predeceased by her parents and infant brother Gary and infant granddaughter Olivia Ferguson.
