Dennis Daniel Kiesling, 61, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully November 29, 2023 with family by his side. He was born on July 26, 1962. The son of Sandra (Hinerichsen) and Ronald Kiesling. Dennis was a carpenter by trade and worked for many years at Ron Davison Builders. On April 13, 1995 he married the love of his life, Kristeen (Lembke). Together they shared 36 years in love and a beautiful daughter, Brooke. Dennis was a deeply devoted husband and father. He and his family were always on to the next adventure. Traveling to islands, spending time at the cabin in Conover, Wisconsin at Stormy Lake, boating, fishing, and snowmobiling, Dennis and his family enjoyed the quality time thrill seeking.

Dennis was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was a talented cook, and enjoyed grilling and making food for the family. He made sure to pass his wisdom on to his daughter so she could learn how to cook, and fix almost anything. He took the time to teach his daughter many life skills such as car and snowmobile maintenance, changing brakes on a car, driving and launching a boat, how to grill, and so much more.

He enjoyed relaxing with a cold Miller Lite and indulging some peanut butter M&M's at night. Dennis was "the life of the party" and is well known for his personality and humor. He will be remembered for his need for speed and love for adventure, and his deep dedication to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kristeen Kiesling; daughter, Brooke Kiesling; dog, Sandy-Bear; father, Ronald L. Kiesling, brothers, Robert (Robin) Kiesling, Mike (Karen) Kiesling, and Rodney Kiesling; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews who he knew as his knuckleheads, and lovingly referred to him as Uncle Bone Head and Bubble, as well as extended family whom he loved dearly. He is welcomed into heaven by his mother, Sandra Kiesling, dog, Bella-Bear; as well as in-laws and extended family.
