Belvidere

Delores L. Weitemeyer, 90, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully at Maple Crest Care Center in Belvidere, IL. Delores was born April 15, 1925 in Rockford, Illinois, daughter of Oliver and Elsie Crawford. She Married Walter Weitemeyer in 1944 in Belvidere Illinois at their family farm. Delores graduated Belvidere High school in 1943 and worked as the Boone County Clerk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Belvidere and was an avid Golfer.

Delores will be missed by her sister, June (Dale) Morgan as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased in death by her parents, brothers, Donald Crawford and Roger Crawford.

A visitation will be held from 11:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. Saturday, May 30, in Anderson Funeral and Cremation services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, Illinois. Burial will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be given to First United Methodist Church in Belvidere.
