Delores L. Ramsey, 87, of Belvidere, IL passed away in her home, Monday, February 2, 2015. She was born November 30, 1927 in Grand Island, NE, daughter of Lester and Linda (Weigert) Plymale. Delores married Bernard Ramsey on November 9, 1950 in Belvidere, IL. She was a homemaker. Delores was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Belvidere. She enjoyed crafts and gardening. Delores received the yard of the month award several times. She and Bernard were snowbirds, spending their winters in Texas and Arizona.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband of 64 years, Bernard of Belvidere; daughters, Linda Cox of Poplar Grove, Kathy (David) Strothmann of Pine, CO; siblings, Sharon (Jim) Rever, Elmer Plymale, Dwain (Jenny) Plymale, Jim (Jan) Plymale; sister-in-law, Pat Plymale; grandchildren, Tracie Arnold, Kurt (Anitra) Cox, Kyle (Fiance, Andrea Rosmann) Cox; great-grandchildren, Dylan Jarrah, Catherine Jarrah, Ryne Cox, Kody Cox; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gordon Plymale, and 2 infant sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Dr. Rev. Robert Kopp officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the funeral home and 10-10:45 am on Friday before the service. Memorials may be given to the family.
