Delores J. Felton, 91, of Belvidere, IL passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, in Belvidere, IL.Delores was born July 4, 1930, in Caldwell, Ohio to Lafe and Thelma (Hurst) Van Fleet. Delores married the love of her life Paul Felton on July 20, 1949, in Readstown, Wisconsin.She worked as a realtor for Audrey Smith Real Estate Agency.Delores was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Women of the Moose.She enjoyed Swedish weaving, embroidery work, dancing to polka music.

Delores will be missed dearly by her husband, Paul; daughters, Lawanna (John) Turnipseed and Shelia (Gordon) Myers; grandchildren, Angie (Jim Bowers) Adams and Adam (Melissa) Myers; great-grandchildren, Ethan (Anna), Emily, Elaina, Rachel, Jocelyn, and Max; great-great-granddaughter, Naomi Mae; sisters, Sharon (Roger) Clark and Dixie (Howard) Chambers; and many nieces and nephews.A special thank you to her caregivers, Veronica, Heather, Maria and Debby, Hope Hospice, and the Belvidere Fire Department for all your help and support.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Turnipseed; brothers, Dwight and Larry Van Fleet; sister, Avis Hooverson; sister-in-law, Dorothy and Donna Van Fleet; and brother-in-law, Tell Hooverson.

Visitation for Delores will be Friday, December 3, 2021, from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 610 Bonus Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008.Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the church.Rev. Jim Bell will officiate.Burial will follow at Belvidere Cemetery.
