Dean W. Anderson, 78, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center surrounded by his family. Born May 24, 1935 in Westby, WI; son of Arlo and Cora (Bakken) Anderson. Married Janet Brye on May 14, 1954 in Westby. Dean was a farmer and worked for Chrysler Corp for 34 years, retiring in 2000. Member of Zion Lutheran Church and NIVTEA. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Survived by his loving wife Janet; children Christine Martin of Belvidere, Chuck Anderson of Colfax, IL, Bryan Anderson of Holmen, WI, Kay Anderson of Duluth, GA, Doreen (Jim Stromski) Anderson of Milwaukee, WI, John (Andrea) Anderson of Rockford, 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Calvin (Pat) Anderson, Janis Appleman, and Bonnie Anderson; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.
