David Ray Wooley, Sr., 53, of Belvidere, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Alden Park Strathmooor Nursing Home following a short illness. Born January 23, 1955 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The son of Franklin and Lucille (Lawtenslager) Wooley. He married Dawn M. Carlson in Belvidere on December 31, 1984. David was a member of More to Life Ministries. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; three daughters, Virginia "Jenny", Anita and Faith Wooley; a son, Steven (fiancé Marie) Wooley; three brothers, Frank (Naomi), Richard (Rosewritha), Martin Wooley; five sisters, Eva (Merle) Davis, Lucille (Jerry) Garski, Brenda Wooley, Lora Mujica, Francis (Alan) Helgerson; mother-in-law, Sheri K. Kurtyak; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Carlson and Anne (Edward) Sloka; two brothers-in-law, Billy Trelease and Brady (Sonya) Carlson, numerous nieces and nephews, special niece, Brittney Reagen. Preceded in death by his father; infant son, David Ray Wooley, Jr.; a brother, Wilord "Steamboat" Wooley and a sister Viola Wooley.
