David Wayne Pauley, 55, of Rockford, IL passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022. David was born July 7, 1967, the son of Ralph and Judy D. (Brown) Pauley, in Charleston, West Virginia. He graduated from Belvidere High School and went on to join the United States Navy. David joined Chrysler (Stellantis) Belvidere Assembly Plant in 1994. David was a connoisseur of pizza and ice cream. He enjoyed boating, fishing, riding roller coasters at Great America, gaming with his stepson and spending time with his dogs, Scrappy and Scooby. He also enjoyed going to flea markets, listening to music at festivals and watching Nascar and Football.

David is loved and will be missed by his wife, Kai; his sons, Nick and Lucas Pauley; his stepson, Lakeland Sathre; his grandchildren; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. David is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Judy; and his brother, Matthew.

David's visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., and also from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday October 7, 2022, with a memorial service to follow officiated by Pastor Bobby Sheets.
