David E. Molitor, 24, of DeKalb, Ill. formerly of Rockford died Saturday, August 2, 2008 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian/train accident. He was born May 1, 1984 in Rockford, the son of Edward Molitor and Angela Varilek. He was in his third year of college. In his spare time he enjoyed playing video games and music and hanging out with his close friends, Sal, Todd, Shelly and Duane. He was an aspiring song writer. He is survived by his mother, Angie; close friend, Sherrie Lewis; his father, Edward; two brothers, Anthony Carner, and Michael Readette; two half brothers, Eddie Molitor and River Recoy; a half sister, Jessica Recoy; his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother and many aunts and uncles.
