David McLain, 16, of Rockford, IL passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. Born September 7, 1999 in Rockford, IL, Son of Alan and Julie (Radford) McLain. David attended East High School and was a former member of the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed music, singing, playing guitar,spending time with his friends and was an amazing baker.

David is loved and will be missed by his parents, Alan and Julie; brothers and sister, Bradley, Rebecca, Logan and Micheal; maternal grandparents Arthur Radford and Linda Fowler as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Robert McLain and maternal grandfather Patrick Fowler.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, 61008 with Rev. Larry Pauley officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Belvidere Cemetery.
