David R. Hermanson, 80, of Roscoe, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, January 10, 2018 in his home surrounded by his loving family. David was born January 8, 1938 in Capron, IL, the son of Harry and Dora (Edson) Hermanson. He married the love of his life, Geraldine Stouffer on January 31, 1959 in Roscoe, IL. David was a barber in Roscoe for over 40 years and was an avid Cubs and Bears Fan.

David is loved and will be missed by his wife, Geraldine; sons, Gregory (Veronica) Hermanson, Gary (Chris) Hermanson, Dale (Dana) Hermanson; six grandchildren, Meghan (Sage), Bergen, Jason, Chelsey, Nathan and Ayla; brother, Ronald (Yvonne) Hermanson as well as numerous nieces and nephews as well as beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Hal, Harry ("Bud"). Paul, Dorothy, Esther, Leda, Agnes Ruth and Hazel.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27,2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
