David Danielson, 87, of Rockford, went home to be with his precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday evening, January 9,2018 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born February 25,1930 in Milwaukee WI, the son of Daniel and Bertha Danielson. David married and adored his honey wife, Ann Meyers on May 25,1957, and was devoted to her for 60 years. He worked at Rockford Products for 34 years and proudly served his county in Korea with the Untied States Army. David was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and sang in the choir. He was a member of Gideon's International, Leroy Grange, and Pomona Grange where he served as president for four years as well as serving on the Boone County Fair Board.  David was a Green Bay Packers fan and loved telling Lenna and Ollie jokes. He grew up in Norway and was proud of his heritage. Most importantly was David's devotion through faith and prayer in his Lord Jesus Christ, who he trusted completely.

David was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed by his wife, Ann; children Brian Danielson, Julie Danielson; siblings, Gloria Loklingholm, Jon Oren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Chester Danielsen.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15,2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 221 N Main St, Belvidere, IL 61008.
