David George Cregeen, 83, of Belvidere, IL, died peacefully, April 19, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born August 10, 1938, in Oak Park, IL, son to William and Virginia (Holmes) Cregeen. David graduated high school and served in the United States Army. He married the late Lois J. Cregeen, October 4, 1960, in Belvidere. David worked at Chrysler for 32 years. He loved the outdoors and tinkering on his cars in the garage. He also loved driving his cars around, taking care of his home, and especially loved spending time with his family. He will be truly missed.

David is survived by hischildren, Kevin (Carol) Cregeen, Kelly Cregeen, Matthew (Teresa) Cregeen; grandchildren; Chelsey Cregeen, Chase (Larissa) Cregeen and Chance Cregeen; brother, Donny Cregeen from Corinth , MI.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois; and brother, Bruce Cregeen. Funeral services will be private. The family would like to thank the OSF Hospice Team and Visiting Angels for their incredible care they gave for him. Memorials can be given to the family to establish a memorial in his memory.
