Poplar Grove, ILDavid C. Anderson 68, of Poplar Grove, IL died Saturday July 13, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a sudden illness. David was born August 2, 1944 in Rockford, IL the son of Earl C. and Marjory (Covey) Anderson. He married Karen E. Hart on October 14, 1967 in Poplar Grove, IL. David was an Electrician from 1967 until he retired from Ingersoll in 2006. He was a veteran of the US army serving from January 1964 until January 1967. He graduated from North Boone High School, class of 1962; was an active member of the Northern Illinois Vintage Tractor and Engine Association (NIVTEA) and the Ingersoll Retiree's Organization.David is loved and will be missed by his wife Karen of Poplar Grove; daughters Jenny (Andy) Lindstrom of Elgin, IL and Julie (Robert) Johnson of Rockford; grandsons Zach and J.J. Lindstrom; brothers Louis C. (Mabel) Anderson of Poplar Grove and Les (Ethel) Anderson of Ashby, MA; nieces, nephews and cousins. David is preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Anderson.
