David J. Boardman, 68, of Belvidere, IL passed away on
November 24, 2019 in Belvidere, IL. He was born on September 14, 1951 in
Belvidere to Elon Sr. and Eleanor (Strugnell) Boardman.

David was a high school graduate and a machinist at various companies in and around Belvidere and Rockford. He enjoyed antiquing and all things vintage. He also loved music.

David will be dearly missed by his sister, Darlene (Frank)
Loy; brother, Elon (Darlene) Boardman, Jr; niece, Jennie Mootrey; nephews,
Joseph and Thomas (Cheryl) Boardman; nephews, Richard and Robert Peavy ; nephew
and niece, Stephen and Kim Boardman; nephew and niece, Frank Loy, Jr. and Robin
Becker; and several great nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elon and Eleanor;
brothers, Stephen, Melvin and Bob; and sister, Joann.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service
Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W.
Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008. A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m., Saturday,
November 30, 2019, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor Jackie
Willis will be officiating.
